Multi channel video installation, 15:41 min

The video shows humans, ants and bats moving in distinct formations and patterns through landscapes in Finland, Norway and Mexico. The audio shifts between recordings done with a contact mic on metallic surfaces in cities and field recordings of the natural landscapes. The humans, as well as the animals, are moving around freely without instruction, acting out a collective behaviour. The audio becomes gradually more repetitive when they start moving in circles or other patterns of movement are formed.

Video installation shown as multi channel spread across four screens, repeated on three of the gallery walls of Arteriet in Kristiansand, Norway. The audio was played in four channel surround sound from speakers placed around the room.
